Pre-requisite
- Job change signals are a premium add-on to your subscription. If not done yet, please request access from the integration page or directly to your CSM.
- You have Salesforce connected and Copilot setup.
How to get started
Step 1: Configure your contact watchlist
To give relevant signals to your Sales team you'd want to define a watchlist of contacts to follow: people who were former customers, champions, buyers... Essentially those who've already bought or used your product, already have a relationship with your team or got demos. When your Sales team reaches out, they'll just pick up from where they were.
To start, you'd typically want to follow these populations:
- current and past customers (so your team follows them when they move to a new company)
- people in Open opp (so your team knows when their buying committee is leaving)
There may be a LOT of people in a customer account, so filtering by person (champion, influencer, buyer...), by title/seniority or even by role (admin, user...) would be the way to go.
All these people may come from different sources (Salesforce, Snowflake, Mixpanel...), you can combine them into a CSV and load it into MadKudu. The CSV requires the email of people you'd like to track (whether these emails are still valid or not).

Step 2: Upload in MadKudu
Manually
- Log into app.madkudu.com then go to Integrations > Job changes
- Upload CSV
- Click Update
That's it!
Once activated, we'll start pulling these contacts' employment history and monitor future changes.

to automate the upload and refresh of the csv
Step 3: Add job change playbooks to your team(s) Copilot accounts
Add job change playbooks to your teams' copilot for them to start taking action on these job changes. Here's how:
- Log into Copilot (installed in Salesforce or in the Chrome extension)
- In the left navigation bar, click on +New playbook then Playbook library
- Select the job change playbooks
- Select the Gong / Outreach / Salesloft sequence that the team should use for these playbooks
- In the sharing settings, share with your org or team
- Click Save playbooks
You're all set! Your team will start receiving new job change records in their playbooks
